Tucson Veterans Supporting Veterans Standdown

Giving Tuscon Veterans Supporing Veterans supplies for their standdownt

Every spring the organization Tucson Veterans Supporting Veterans holds a standdown to provide local veterans with toilet articles and some articles of clothing. In 2024 the Tucson chapter used a grant to purchase toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and other personal hygiene articles, in addition to some socks, that were donated to the standdown. Ann Hollis, chapter president, is shown at the right in the photo with two volunteers after delivering a large box to Tucson Veterans Supporting Veterans in early March 2024. The Tucson Chapter has a MOAA Foundation grant that will be used to provide similar items for the March 2026 Tucson Veterans Suporting Veterans annual stand-down.
